EDUCATION & YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
The Challenge
Despite government schemes, educational access remains a major challenge in Melghat. Children drop out due to poverty, lack of nearby schools, and the need to contribute to family income. For many, especially girls, formal education ends early—closing off futures before they begin.
Our Response
Every child deserves education—not as charity, but as a fundamental right. Our educational programs create pathways for children to learn, grow, and build futures of their choosing.
What We Do
Bridge School: Our innovative Bridge School program targets children who dropped out of formal education but want to return. We provide intensive catch-up education, addressing learning gaps and preparing students to rejoin mainstream schools at appropriate levels.
Ashram School Access: We advocate for and facilitate access to ashram schools (residential schools for tribal children), ensuring deserving students get opportunities for quality education.
Educational Support: Providing materials, mentoring, and follow-up support to help students succeed once they’re back in school.
Community Awareness: Working with parents and communities to emphasize the importance of education and address barriers preventing children from attending school.
Scholarship Facilitation: Helping students access government scholarships and educational support schemes they’re entitled to.
